Connecticut Chapter Student Honors Auditions
fThe Connecticut NATS Student Auditions will take place on Sunday, March 8, 2026.

Please review the NATS Student Auditions packet with information on repertoire requirements, time limits for each category, updated fees, and instructions for registration.

At the end of the day, awards will be announced for all divisions. We hope that many of you will choose to stay and be a part of this event! A change for this year: our winners recital will occur after the awards ceremony.
We look forward to seeing everyone for a fabulous day of music making!

NATS Auditions Masterclass
March 8, 2026 at Eastern Connecticut State University (time TBA)
Soprano Chealsea Lorraine and cellist Susan Robison will coach students on stage deportment, including walking, bowing, and speaking/slating. These often under-practiced skills will be addressed in a fun and encouraging way, giving participants the confidence they need to “own” the stage and engage an audience.

Please read the 2026 student auditions packet carefully as our registration process has changed.
This section is for teachers of applicants only. If you are a singer and would like to register, please ask your teacher to do so on your behalf.
There is no teacher registration fee however, each teacher is responsible for collecting fees from their students.
NEW THIS YEAR – Teachers may now pay their registration fees via the purchase options below. The fee for each category has increased to $35.00. For students competing in multiple categories each additional category is $20.00. If a student has a time constraint the day of the audition, please include those details on your registration form.

Registration must be completed by 2/20. Any teacher who enters students must be available to adjudicate at ECSU in Willimantic on Sunday, 3/8. If unavailable, the teacher is responsible for finding another NATS member to fill their spot.

2. Pay registration fee(s). A $35 fee is due for each singer being registered and an additional fee of $20 for each additional category.
3. Complete the Name/Category/Title/Composer sections of the repertoire form, print 3 copies, and bring them to the auditions. Please double check to make sure your repertoire meets all category requirements! Note that there is an additional question of winners recital attendance.
